Gemma’s Angels Covid-19 Policy & Protocols

Back on the Road!

On or about the mid March, 2020, we were forced to suspend our operations due to the Coronavirus (Covid-19) and our immediate inability to properly sanitize our Mobile Farmer’s Market. Finally, with the generous help of several donors, we were able to purchase an antivirus electrostatic sprayer. The vehicle will be disinfected prior to and after each use to maintain high standards of cleanliness.

Professional Medical Advice

In addition to properly sanitizing our vehicle, we sought professional medical advice from our advisors on how we could safety resume operations. Effectively immediately and with an abundance of caution in mind, we are adopting the following Covid-19 Policies, Procedures and Protocols:

Non-Volunteer Use of our Mobile Farmer’s Market

  1. Entrance on or use of Gemma’s Angels Mobile Farmer’s Market is strictly prohibited to Gemma’s Angels approved volunteers only. No clients, volunteers or employees of any of our drop-off sites are permitted on our vehicle at any time for any reason.

Gemma’s Angels Volunteer Use of the Mobile Farmer’s Market

All approved volunteers riding or occupying the Mobile Farmer’s Market must AT ALL TIMES, wear an approved mask as issued or approved by Gemma’s Angels.

  1. Medical & Physical Condition of Volunteers:

    • Volunteers are expressly forbidden to work on the Mobile Farmer’s Market if:

    • They, or anyone with whom you have been in contact with, traveled to/through any of the following in the past 21 days?:

      • China, Hong Kong, Iran, Italy, Japan, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan or Thailand, or

      • Have traveled outside of Pennsylvania, you must have self-quarantined.

    • Are you sick with a respiratory illness?

    • Have you been in close proximity to someone who is sick with a respiratory illness within the last 14 days? Anyone who answers Yes to questions cannot volunteer.

    • If you have been sick with a respiratory illness, have you been symptom free for 14 days or can you provide a negative coronavirus test result?

    • If you have been in close proximity to someone who is sick with a respiratory illness within the last 14 days, have you been symptom free for 14 days after last contact with this person or can you provide a negative coronavirus test result? If yes, you may volunteer.
