Welcome to the Ushers Department!
Signing Up for Shifts:
The number of volunteers used depends on two things: The size of the event and the number of paid staff working the events. These shifts will be assigned on a first come first serve basis. Watch for emails that will list requests for ushers. There is no online calendar for shifts.
Volunteer Cancellations:
If you have a valid emergency, call us at 717 686 7503 as soon as possible. If you happen to know another volunteer to take your place, that would be very helpful. Otherwise, give us as much advance notice as possible.
Reporting for your shift:
All volunteers are required to report to the Employee
Gate#9 for their shifts at HERSHEYPARK Stadium. If the shift is at GIANT Center, please report to the Usher Room
using Entrance 6 at the back lower level of GIANT Center. We ask that all volunteers arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the start of their shift.
Parking for the Stadium is behind the Human Resource Building at the Employee entrance off Hersheypark Drive. Parking for the Giant Center is in the designated Employee Parking Lot.
Signing In:
All volunteers are required to sign in upon arrival for their shift. At the Hersheypark Stadium, please see the Personnel staff member to obtain your assignment and receive your shirt.
At the Giant Center, please read the assignment sheet that is posted in the Usher/Coat Room.
Please print your name LEGIBLY on the sheet in the Usher Room as we use this to track volunteer hours. Also please sign in on the correct sheet.
At the end of the shift:
